Don't forget about the scrimmage against Stuart HS this upcoming Friday (May 22). Although it is probable that it will end later than usual, please try to stay longer if you can.

E-mail of 5/1/09

Hey everyone!
Since the school year will come to an end very soon will will hold an election on
May 15th
. There are 5 slots (and they are all open-meaning the current officers will have to run for their posistions again if they choose to continue):
  • President- makes all the decisions for the club
  • Vice President- takes over when the president is not there
  • Secretary- sends e-mail
  • Treasurer- take care of the account & makes sure member pay their dues
  • Historian- keeps the website updated (with pictures, e-mails...etc.)
If you plan to run for an office, make sure you have a short speech ready and either send a reply back to me or to Mrs. Saladino (meghan.saladino@fcps.edu) saying what position you want to run for.

Our school year is not yet over, so are any of you guys interested in a scrimmage against Chantilly, Stuart or Woodson? (Woodson has practices on Wednesday, so we have to go on Wednesday if you plan to go against them) Anyway just e-mail me back if you're interested.

About next year:
  • Taping will be on SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 26TH
    - We will go against Lake Braddock and Woodson
    - Do you guys want to have practice over the summer?

P.S. Study questions are posted on the club website: http://ahsitsacademic.blogspot.com/

~Enjoy your weekend
